Big surprise...I have a compromise! Restrict PBS to a cable network, which will lower costs, and allow it to use overt advertising aimed at its demographic, just like A&E. Restrict public finding to a need based cable subsidy for poor families...

Sure. If PBS had been assisting Republicans for decades, both in its programming and directly via donor lists, Goofy Gore would be screaming for their heads. I say kill the PBS, and kill it dead.
