Kip,

Too much competition? Who? Autobytel, yes. Carpoint? Not so much. How big is this market? I know it's in the billions. So I don't know how they can say there's too much competition. Does this same analyst think there's too much competition in the real world? How many auto dealers does he have in his town? The auto market is huge. I think there's even room for more competition, and there will be more, but I don't see that being a huge problem with this big a market.

People too often look at the Internet space differently than they do the real world. There can be more than one player. Yes, there will be consolidation, that is to be expected.

I also think Autoweb has done a good job of positioning themselves. They have a good affiliate program and that is a real strength IMO. Think of Amazon, but we're just getting started.

I don't understand why we're not getting any respect. It's just crazy. I'm not selling. And, having Steve Harmon on your side is never a bad thing either. He's proven himself time and again with Internet stocks and I agree with his analysis of AWEB.

I will never understand the Internet space. But, I do feel I have a sense for how businesses operate and I think AWEB is doing fine. I certainly hope the stock price catches up, and I think it will, just don't know how soon.
