Michelle, as HJ noted, now even the most stellar inet ipo's are fumbling a bit. Just this past week I've seen deterioration.

And thats about the best news the net stocks can have here if you ask me. The underwriters have got to put a lid on IPOs like Talk City and Raging Bull. Individual sites should not be IPOing, they should do what SI did and form a network of sorts, all this inventory is killing the market (and not just the nets either)

This argues for waiting until August 16 to buy DSCM.

I think it is reasonable to expect the brokerage recommendations on August 17th to be favorable. If you look at HLTHs chart, the stock doubled around 20 trading days post-IPO. Buying HLTH 18 days after the IPO would have been a smart thing to do.
