That's not what I would call investor friendly company. If I were a shareholder, I would not like being treated like a second class citizen.

What smells was if only institutions were on the call, and over 50% of todays volume was at the open, it looks like the select few didn't like what was said and the retail little is in the dark. Not the way a professional company treats its sharesholders.
