NITE doing better than the discount brokers for once. If MER was going to buy NITE ... the street would know and wouldn't be selling the stock off. Still ... nothing like a rumour to support the stock price in a bad market (GG)

Merril bumps estimates from 1.60 to 1.85.
Think that is the reason they have been accumulating. Price target of 65. ( or 60??)

I don't think that got picked up anywhere though. That may be why we have sagged so much.

Not much to say about today's action. On a day like this, a Friday with weakish volume, and a lot of daytrading - it is not sensible to draw far-reaching TA conclusions. The market was slightly positive, NITE closed positive. It is *possible* that NITE is gaining in relative strength, block activity favored sells over block buys, but again, on a day like today, I wouldn't want to draw any firm conclusions. I, like many others, traded, lowering my cost of acquisition of NITE originally at 48 1/2, ever more.

For the intermediate term, there is nothing really positive to look forward to, as earnings are out, and unless the company announces good news, we'll drift around here, and if the market goes down, we may again drift lower.

Everyone have a great weekend!
