FYI, Amzn's float was around 12M and short interest was around 8M during the 12/98-1/99 period.

January 5, 1999 was the first day AMZN was traded ex-stock dividend. It means O/S on January 5, 1999 should be as much as O/S now.
Here is the historical price of AMZN on January 5-8, 1999.

January 5, 1999.
O: $109 9/16
H: $129 3/4
L: $106 1/2
C: $124 1/2
Vol: 31,429,700

January 6, 1999
O: $137
H: $140 3/8
L: $134
C: $138
V: 18,088,300

January 7, 1999
O: $137 1/8
H: $160 1/4
L: $133
C: $158 7/8
V: 23,637,200

January 8, 1999
O: $184 5/16
H: $199 1/8
L: $152
C: $160 1/4
V: 33,329,800

Oh boy, do I have to correct my last word because based on
historical price, AMZN was up from $106 1/2 to $199 1/8 only in four days with O/S as much as now.....:)
This is what I call "the power of Amazon.com"
So, better be careful with our money.

Anyway, I talked about TA (H&S) with Olu.
I just asked if consistent with long term H&S, we should see AMZN test back to $190-200 to build RS (Right Shoulder). Otherwise, better not to talk about long term H&S. I think I and Olu just shared our perspective about H&S on AMZN, right Olu?...:)
