You seem to get the idea I am overly obsessed with Nostradamus' prediction of inevitable doom and gloom. Oh no! That's not so. It was just that he had assigned dates to only a few of his predictions and of those, all had come to pass except for the one ahead. Hopefully, it will be a "dud" and we will continue to live long and prosper. (Ask Father Terrence (Terrence Bergh) about those predictions!)

For what it is worth, Nosty pointed out he felt compelled (see his letter to his son, Cesar, posted earlier) to couch his predictions in veiled/controversial/nebulous terms lest he should become too obvious a target and condemned as one in league with Satan and burnt at the stake, by the Inquisition.
