A big thank you to Gateway today...geez, yesterday, at a $10 billion market cap, Gateway looked pretty attractive <g>...have to admit, I slammed Gateway on their CowStore concept...but they are making it work....just think if Dell bought Gateway... (1) Could use Gateway as (low-end) consumer and small/medium business brand (2) Would add Gateway's internet holdings (3) Could promo Dell (higher-end) brands along side Gateway in the cowstores..talk about synergy! (4) Could use/expand Gateway's ISP (5) Could add 6% marketshare at a pretty reasonable cost ** Don't think this has a chance in heck of happening (any time soon) Don't think Waitt and MD get along..Don't think TedW wants to answer to MD....although, I never thought TedTurner would sell-out either (!) Just some Friday musings...hope we will finish strong today...
