<how about people who want to invest in risky Biotechs without any risk of losing their money? Is this what some are trying to obtain by being Harmonites?>

What does this mean... ?

Bluegreen, I guess DAK and I finally agree on something. Really rare as I have this feeling that no matter what I post on any subject he usually makes a counter post. <g>

What does this mean?

Going to wait for DAK, to now explain to me that what you meant, was obvious.

BTW I have never heard that saying.

I don't know Harmon. He did work for XOMA at one time. From some of his past post one can say he does not have fond memories of working there.

When one works for a corporation one finds that the best decisions are not always made, just as they are not in our own lives. Sometimes when new management takes over the best talkers survive or other considerations play a more important part in who stays and who goes. Obviously the best person does not always end up being chosen to stay.

However whatever happened was in the past. One would probably find things to object to in any company any of us including Harmon are involved with. I can accept that XOMA might have done dumb things, I can accept that ex employees might not be great fans of the places they used to work.If people refuse to look at XOMA because they may have valid reasons for not liking the company that is their choice. These reasons may relate to the past or the present.

For me, I like XOMA. I would be interested in any biotech company involved in three P III trials, with one pending unblinding, that had just made a deal with a major company and on its' way to a bigger deal, with licensing agreements with over 16 companies etc. etc. etc. Those that do not want to look at XOMA regardless of what it is doing are entitled to not look.
