I'm long QWST, but I'm really not sure whether Nacchio's recent merger stunts were necessary... Of course, they have that 18K+ miles fiber network that is/will be very valuable, but it may take time until QWST will be reassessed positively by the investment community.

I continue to hold QWST simply because long term there will be ever more demand for broadband delivery. But I'm really unsure whether to keep accumulating the stock. QWST story has changed quite a bit in recent months, and I'm not sure whether I like it. Maybe we get some good news out of the earnings release next week.

All in all I feel pretty clueless about QWST,
