To Michael, Unc Frank ET AL...

Just wanted to say Thanks to you and...Rose,Jim Willie, michael piturro,John G,marginmike, engineer,John G,etc... Have been reading your posts for a while now and have enjoyed the insights and technical opines.

I think the reason I signed up was the display of concern exhibited when marginmike express sentiment regarding future stock movement (mainly a return to the 'ol days of no appreciation) and the regular group rallied around him. AWESOME.. That is something that can't be bought! Last night was my first post and relized a little too late that Hell had broken loose!! Quickly found myself posting during heated discussions on TA and shorts.. I'm a longtermer, owner of Q since 1995; long on msft since 1990 as well..
I have always appreciated a quality thinking process with reasonable deducement and then a sharing of an opposing view.. not a problem! However I don't get into situations like Monty Pythons " The Arguement"
I would like to remind all of the quality discussions that took place last week before hell broke loose...

PS Isn't there a thread dedicated to Q TA??

I may get harassed for the comment, but I've always viewed TA as akin to trying to drive my car down the freeway while looking out the back window. As long as the road is straight, I can probably make a decent guess as to where I'm going, and can keep myself on the road.

It's when the road starts to curve that I have trouble. All the highway signs are facing the wrong way, so I know there's a message, but damn if I know what it is, but I occasionally can guess right from the shape. I can't tell when I'm getting into traffic, so if people cut me off I don't know it until it's too late. The faster I go, the worse I overreact because my reactions exacerbate the situation. Plus, by looking out the back, I can't see my instruments, so it's hard for me to tell how fast I'm going, or when I'm out of oil or gas. And don't even ask me about figuring out when the engine warning light is flashing... I never know until the smoke from under the hood washes over me, and by then it's too late. And hitting the exit and on ramps is pure quesswork.

And possibly worst of all, all the people driving their cars facing forward look at me like I'm a total idiot...
