**OT** AOL effective use via palmtops

Did you realize....that you have access to your email....outside of AOL....through their internet site aol.com ?

Just go there...and see the "email" function.....then you can use your wireless CE to access the Internet and then go to that site...You can read all your aol mail, reply to it...whatever....

it is on the aol server...which is on the Internet...that is why you can get to it this way...

Another thing for AOL members: you can do two other things a lot of people do not realize..

1) use your aol dial connection to access the Internet with a Netscape or Explorer browser....just minimize your AOL window...and click on whatver browser on your desktop.....(AOL functions as any Internet service provider)

2) If you have an Internet Service Provider...(cable modem, MCI, whatever) you can save on your AOL bill by converting your billing plan to the "Bring your own Access" plan BYOA...go to KEYWORD: billing, change plan...you will then just pay $10/month for aol

have fun.....hope this helps....

Major shareholder of AOL here....laugh....
