Using unsold (unrealized gains) of stock seems to me illusory and shouldn't be acceptable>> ALSC announced that they would be taking the gain for the sale of Maverick to Broadcom during the quarter. I suspect that the IRS or GAAP dictated the accounting recognition. They are free to sell or trade the stock at any time since they are no longer bound by sale restrictions. In any case, stock now looks like a bargain. Sold some S3 to pick up ALSC. Ken
