I REPEAT ..... ======================================================= I don't care who started this chest-thumping or name-calling. IT IS REALLY TIRESOME. This is the most childish thing I've seen on SI since I started posting here in 1996. There should be room for various opinions - from one end of the spectrum - to the other. And, somewhere in-between ... WITHOUT resorting to baiting, incessent personal attacks and name-calling. If you disagree with someone ... use facts or reasoning to rebut. Not personal attacks, and/or repeated "baiting". Can't you guys just drop it already? Thanks. Cheryl

bear, I think you had better get your facts straight. I defy you to find where I called you a draft dodger. You chose to isolate yourself from the rest of the world (apparently not enough to keep you off the internet, though... :0) God knows what precautions you have taken based upon such a lack of hard documented evidence. But hey.. you did it and that's your business. I'm not judging you on that. But you and some other people need to climb off your high horses and stop badgering people who don't believe what you believe. If we're caught with our pants around our ankles due to Y2K being more serious than expected, then I guess it's our own fault. Your not responsible and you can give yourself a case of round-shoulder from patting yourself on the back. But since we're both former serviceman, I have a hard time believing you fail to understand that military strength comes from its unity of force and spririt of teamwork. You damn well know that we all can't follow your recipe for preparedness through relocation, so get used to the fact that your in a minority. You chose to do so and that's your choice. But someone has to stay behind to rebuild or fix whatever has been disrupted, and its apparently it won't be people like yourself.
