Just read the news about the FCC approval. Congradulations & good luck going foward. Does anyone here know how this phone service works? Seems like it will be alot cheaper & people who cannot afford cell phones may give this service a shot. If so, this gets to my real question. Will the com. go through the type of towers that AMT builds? If so, there could be more demand for towers?
Thanks ,
Jim

This is welcome news. Should be clear sailing ahead. But with the FCC which is a master of delay and bureaucratic inefficiency, the "strings" attached can easily prevent a fast ramp up. No question LWIN will do its part, and fast, but will the FCC? Skeptical.

Chaz

PS Note the opponents of this "approval" have the "right of appeal". One of those "opponents" is the US Govt itself - the Small Business Administration with lawyers sitting around looking for ways to "help" us. This may be "help" we would prefer not to suffer through, but LWIN may well be tied up in knots until the SBA decides which monkey wrench to throw and where.
