I know what you mean about their "products". They are very well kept secrets as to any nurses, doctors, or techs. you ask about them seem to have never heard of them. Like I said I live in a small state, NH. I would like to hear from other people in other states if any of their Drs. are using Cholostech products.

As far as averaging don't feel bad I scooped it at 10 and then at 14 as it was "breaking out" little did I know that out was going to turn into "down".

I did average more in at 2 3/8 and 3 5/8 so like TSO/dlo I am smiling but sure can't seem to find any concrete info as to why the stock is up. All I know is price follows volume usually, and the volume is up so I'm hoping for the best.

Regards, Al

Well, Karen, with CTEC's performance, you certainly could not be faulted for staying away....or for "holding your nose" and staying with your position. Fortunately, I got frightened out around 14. And having become a big believe in TA (thanks to a gal who goes by "E-Graphs" on SI), I started buying CTEC when there were indications of something going on. And, after all, how could we fall off the floor, so to speak?.. :-) CTEC's performance had stunk so bad, even our old-time thread devotees abandoned ship, and couldn't be lured back.
Now, I suspect something is in the wind. CTEC figures seem to track with your experience -- good performance in the POL, and an inability to achieve significant penetration in the pharmacy.
But it shouldn't take any spectacular achievement to get CTEC back on line. As I recall, they have proved capable of $.17/share on a quarterly basis (before all the horrendous deducts, and missteps). And Yahoo Research has been indicating a 50% growth rate over the next 5 years. Put that together. $.17/share quarterly is $.68 annually. With a projected growth rate of 50% ahead, surely the market will assign a PE of 30. $.68 X 30 = a share price of 20.
Well, I wouldn't want anyone to believe that I think CTEC will hit 20 anytime soon. But I do have a target of $15/share for next year.
And something between 60 and 150, five years out. But that's never-never land when we're playing around under five... So let's go for that 15 by next year! And more after that.
Cheers! And hope you soon won't have to think about "averaging down"

Something close to News: Over on the Yahoo thread, Drifter extracted from the annual report that the 510k for the liver test had been submitted to the FDA, and that a decision was due within 90 days--- by July or August. The liver test might even have more potential than the cholesterol test, it has been stated.
Hey, if they approve a liver test, and we get ANYTHING out of the liver test, I gotta start feeling a LITTLE better, wouldn't you, Karen?
