So, if you can't get into your account at Dreyfus Brokerage it is because it changed its URL yesterday. I like to check my account several times a week, and have it listed in one of my "favorites" on MS explorer. When I clicked it yesterday, I was told that I am stupid, and don't know how to use this computer, that I should unplug it and toss it out the window so that I can take up some other time consuming activity such as watching baseball games or the TV 1/2 hr time fillers screened one after another between programs called News, but in reality are nothing more than, sophisticated sales pitches for more police, sports stadiums and recently, memorbilia. Lucky I was able to find the new URL for Dreyfus using a MS search to log on to find the status of my account. Now I can continue my dreams of wealth beyond reach of any mortal working person. Did this happen to anyone else? Joe

Ya, Like they should have known that you could have brought a check over right away. Any body that lets that happen to them in short positions needs to reexamine things. A big down week and you could not make money in a short! You need a new broker alright, one that can give you a little advice. To the recent post, I had just a minor hang up getting in at first but it did not take much to get the bookmarks reset. I have been this brokerage since when it was Pacific Brokerage and have been satisfied with the broker for some 8 years now. CM
