Betty, I agree with you about Reagan. He is (I am not going to say "was" until he's in the ground, dammit!) a loveable guy. And people can say anything they want about him, it's water off a duck's back to me.

Endorphins are natural substances which your body pumps out when you are hurt. I've worked in ambulances, and I've seen numerous patients giggle and wisecrack all the way to the hospital. Not everybody does it, but a lot do. Morphine is an analog, provokes much the same feeling.

I know the feeling, having suffered an injury or two myself. When you wake up the next morning you really feel it.
