bw-3 Restaurants Endorse NTN Digital Interactive TV

CARLSBAD, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 26, 1999-- Minneapolis-based chain to feature
NTN's new interactive sports

and trivia game network in all corporate locations; recommends

installation in all franchise stores

NTN Communications, Inc. (AMEX: NTN), an interactive television network for hospitality venues
and an Internet content provider, today announced that its Digital Interactive TV network will be
installed in all 21 of the bw-3/ Buffalo Wild Wings corporate locations. In addition, NTN has
received contracts to install Digital Interactive TV in 63 of the total 95 bw-3/Buffalo Wild Wings
locations nationwide.

"Once we saw the enhanced features NTN was delivering through Digital Interactive TV, the
decision to convert our corporate locations to the new network and recommend it to our
franchisees was simple," said Brad Haber, vice president of operations for bw-3/Buffalo Wild
Wings. "NTN is a big piece of what bw-3 is all about. The installation of NTN's new Digital
Interactive TV will expand our advertising and internal marketing options, while continuing to
provide the original trivia and sports content that NTN is known for."

NTN has been a part of bw-3/Buffalo Wild Wings locations since the first systems were installed in
1992. Since then, bw-3 has become one of the country's most popular trivia destinations with
locations in Houston and Lafayette, Ind. registering more than 8,000 players per month. Now, with
the installation of NTN's Digital Interactive TV network, players can look forward to enhanced
options such as a redesigned Playmaker(R), live player chat, full-motion video and a customized
Web page for subscribers hosted on ntn.com.

"We are delighted with bw-3's decision to install our Digital Interactive TV network in all of its
corporate locations, as well as recommend it to franchisees," said Tyrone Lam, executive vice
president of NTN Communications. "For a successful chain like bw-3 to embrace Digital Interactive
TV so soon after our launch is a testament to the creativity and dedication that NTN put into
developing this exciting new network."

NTN's Digital Interactive TV enhanced features include:

Playmaker(R): A redesigned Playmaker, NTN's handheld wireless keypad, allows patrons to go
beyond interactive trivia games to access Internet-based player chat and sports scores without
ever leaving their table. Sleek, colorful, and easy to use, the redesigned Playmaker serves as a
launching pad for all Digital Interactive TV entertainment.

Player chat: Providing real-time chat will add an entirely new level of "boy meets girl" at BW-3
locations everywhere. Now, a person playing games on the NTN network at one table can send a
text message to a person playing at another table - creating a chat room-like environment
destined to change the dynamics of a public venue.

Full Motion Video: Enhancing the player experience, full motion video capabilities also provide NTN
national network advertisers a creative tool to develop messages that make a powerful consumer
connection.
