Catcher and Dennis Conner and All: It looks like Dennis was pretty much on the mark if this report from Street Life has a grain of truth in it.

"..MSFT.... So I heard from an informed source that
Billy Boy is really concerned about MSFT's stock
price and was going to use that analyst meeting
Thursday night as an opportunity to talk it down. A
family member of mine called it "arrogance." I don't
know about that. I do know that many on the Street
think that he wants the stock down just because of his
option problem. In other words, it's hard to go out and
hire young guns when you can't suggest that the
options you're going to give 'em will be up ten times
in five years. BTW, MSFT was $6 five years ago this
month; today it's $90!!!!!!! Microsoft now has a cap
of just under $500 billion. Ten times that is $5 trillion.
You heard it here first: NO FREAKING WAY. If it's
a trillion, though, that would be terrific." JFD
