I can visualize that one. I once tried to admit myself to a 3rd world hospital while suffering from a 104+ fever. There was a kilometric form to be filled out, numerous questions, and when the girl at the desk got to "religion", I couldn't figure out what the hell to say. I wanted to say "none of your goddamned business", but remember distinctly thinking that it wouldn't fit in the blank space. Finally the girl got fed up and asked "Catholic or Protestant". I said the former, having been raised that way, and had to endure visits from an overfed, unctuous, and visibly gay priest for the next 4 days. I still wonder what would have happened if I'd said "Protestant".
