I wonder how we got to the point where we demand that everything involving nuclear power should be 100% safe. That is what is driving up the cost. We don't demand the same of airplanes, cars, or anything else. It's an irrational fear.

How idiotic can we be as a species, when we have so much excess solar "radiation" falling on this planet, and we fail to use it properly? There lies the real solution to our future energy problems, with no extremely dangerous disposal risks to constantly worry about. Yogi
