Well I never believed the theory of a spending freeze. I have always held the opposite view that Y2K would cause an INCREASE in spending.

But what about the recent article that suggests that the current equip cycle will peak in Q1 of 2000 and then rise again in the second half of 2000 and on to 2002?

I guess we've heard it all around here.
