I think we're on the same page here.

- stock valuation: i2 delivers value. I don't think this point is in contention by anyone, bull or bear. To me current earnings and discussions of PE are a red herring. The company has stated it's not trying to maximize current earnings, it is trying to maximize to entire earning stream of the company. Revenue and market position are where the focus should be in current analysis. Discussions premised on current PE miss the boat IMHO.

- ORCL - I thought it was interesting that Sanjiv mentioned the ORCL salespeople he's talked to recognize the importance of i2 in helping them close various deals. My impression was that he felt ORCL still needed i2 regardless of their own SCM offering.

- Automotive in general: Very good news here. I'd been waiting for this. Hope to hear more of the same. As far as being hotly contested, however, my impression is that i2 competes primarily against in house applications at the auto manufacturers. I don't know that another solution provider is going for the business. Here's to hoping that i2's early penetration here is sign of much more to come.
