"What does foreign mean?" Just a guess, but since the electronic Pink Sheets have been up for only a couple of weeks, I think Free Real Time is using the term "foreign" to cover the new data, until their software gets updated. If you go to pcquote.com (see pcquote.com ) you'll see it has the field Exchange listed as "OTC Other". The messages coming from the servers at the National Quotation Bureau, the people who own the Pink Sheets, are in some computer format called FIX v4.1 if I recall, so I assume that the quote providers like Free Real Time have to somehow convert it to HTML to make Web pages out of the data, and insert their own advertising. I assume the "V" means voice call, i.e., the brokers have to call the market maker. I checked on the Vancouver Stock Exchange, and neither Digitcom nor DGIV is listed there.
