Eric, Thanks for your answer. I have another question for you. Is there a set pattern for MSFT issuance of equity put warrants---ex july or December? Or is it just a management decision to select the best dates? TIA BTW--If there is no set time, i wonder if they are waiting for some big correction (or expecting it) in the markets. Based upon history, i don't think they have been too good at determining the value of the company----since Maffei stepped in, they have improved a bit. They used to go quarters with no stock repurchases while they were sitting on billions in cash.
