<Intel just seems to have forgotten how to get designs done in time. And gloating about the past does little good. You might be able to
tell a lot of stories to your kids and grand kids about "Intel did that, Intel did this" but that does not do much beyond provide entertainment and histroical perspective.>

And of course this is the same type of meaningless babble and predictions that we heard from Cyrix and AMD enthusiasts 5 years ago <gg>. If you don't think historical results and company track records are any indicator of the future then you must have only been following the CPU industry for a few weeks <gg>.

<Intel just seems to have forgotten how to get designs done in time.>

The original Pentium suffered significant delays? What's your point? The key is that Intel hasn't forgotten how to reap in multi-billion dollar profits each quarter. You know....."profits"...something AMD has forgotten about for years <gg>.

I suppose you will be telling all your offspring - and theirs - about what AMD DIDN'T DO .... while your Intel sale and subsequent short sale at $58 is now losing you $24 1/2 per share.
