I got a response from "Engineer" that my post about European companies was too "ethic" I don't consider the European comments to be ethic. It is a cultural outlook that is a direct effect on Q. If this thread is that "politically correct", I will not post to it again.

you forgot to mention the FCC and SAR testing that is going on at the same time. Sometimes that is the long pole.

Actually if you had a schematic in hand of what you believed was a working phone it would take you longer. Even the really good RF engineers need a few board rolls to get their product perfect. Then you need to get the manufacturing right, then get the final product off to labs for all the testing that goes on. Then your software starts to be the long pole because you need close to final product to get your software right and all of the verification testing currently required by the industry needs the final version of the software (or close to it).

A six month time frame for getting a phone to market is totally unrealistic. Even the fastest take nine months to a year.
