Kok, agree totally that longs regard 38% pullbacks as a mere annoyance... then the upcoming frustration of August will not cause you dispepsia either

in your view TA is for shortsighted people looking to garner tiny gains from ripples... while fundies is for longterm investors who have become quillionaires... fine

but not all longs refrain from occasional sidebets... like writing calls when Q is deeply extended... like buying option calls when Q is ready to rock&roll... and then we have others who prefer to get out of the way when a storm is seen on radar approaching, like now... still newer investors might seek a safer entry point

I wish you well... try not to think me foolish for not getting very wet, seeking to come back outside when the rain provides us with some fresh air, cool temperatures, and a generally safer environmt to grow some nice vegetables... the gorilla just ripped out a major section of the garden I was gonna sell to the wellheeled visitors (S&P funds)

it is possible to be committed to a company and its stock and ride most huge runs, while over time building a core position not to dick with

different goals, tolerances, views toward pullbacks
that is ok

yes indeedy, LONG LIVE THE Q
Qualcomm uber alles
an absolutely dominating giant in the making

Kok Chen. Good points. A good long term strategic advantage usually beats a frequent series of short term tactical manuvers.
