Binx,

I doubt that IBM is actually manufacturing CF. I beleive they have a relationship with SSTI. The card may be an IBM private label on top of an SSTI card.

If my math is correct my bellweather site sold more that 350 fourty-eight MB SanDisk CompactFlash cards in the last week. The majority of these sales are on weekdays.

Again, I predict Q3 to be a blow out.

I can hear the machinery chugging away 24 hours a day at CF and MMC production in China and Taiwan in my sleep.

We will have a full head of steam going into Christmas and the 2000 Q1 aftermarket demand should be strong.
