Karen, Prudence is generally the best policy, imho...and CTEC is an outright speculation. Since almost "everybody" (except Al, of course) has abandoned ship, the fact that you are still here says you do have some hope for this tur....errr -- technological gem in the rough. Here is why I was willing to start accumulating:
1. All the bad news is priced into the stock.
2. The sellers have already departed.
3. The product is still viable, and revenue is increasing.
4. Enhancements are being added to the basic product.
5. NO growth is needed to put a value on the stock of $10 or so (the Company can earn over $.60/share just by avoiding mistakes).
It is essentiallly the same company today as it was in late '97/early '98, before the mis-steps, when most folks were quite pleased to hold it at prices above $10/share. And today, if the company is STILL a bummer, what can they do to me other than drive the stock down to $2?....been there, done that...can't hurt me again :-)
Pleased to hear you enjoyed the E!/TSO banter on the old LSI thread, the "Pleasant Thread"... E! added the smarts on the TA side (a great match to Shane's fundamentalism), and I got to benefit. I have LSI today; recently added more. Now that was fun, once the world situation let LSI do it's thing. LTXX has been another "runner" for me. But it is hard to put the "Old Gang" together again. Hope you'll jump in more often -- here, on the LTXX, over on PSUN, or LSI, or wherever.
And good luck on your investing!!
