<<and Michael Rieber's Testimony against the Clinton Nuclear Plant. >>

It's up and running again after a 2 1/2 year shut down for safety reasons. I'll be down there fishing the cooling lake when it cools off again.

Are you old enough to remember when nuclear powered electricity was going to be "too cheap to meter"? What a laugh that turned out to be!

nihil, how much of the huge capital costs of a nuclear plant are due to the fact that virtually every one built in the U.S. was a new design, instead of replicating the most efficient, safe design? Are you calculating the cost of the damage from acid rain and particulate pollution from coal fired plants? How about the possible future costs to reverse the increase in CO2?
