You don't think that getting $47+ a share while still losing money is a sign of respect for management? Take a look at UTEK and how they are ONLY getting $14, about the same price they were selling back when LRCX was under $10, if you want an idea of what happens to a stock where the market has little confidence in what management projects.

I think Bagley and Co. have done a splendid job and the market has rewarded them well. I also look for this to continue as they move to profitability and beyond in the yrs to come.

((BTW, one of the reasons I love Lam is that it has always been a diamond-in-the-rough, never getting the multiples of others in the sector since they previously had been so poorly managed. Once earnings start rising and we finally get some 'spect from the Street we will
see great appreciation IMHO since we will have not only rising eps but increasing multiples:-))
