Mike, I think you are mistaken about the depression being 5 years along. And their is no shortage of graft on either side. The major difference so far is that even the slimy Republicans have never stooped so low as to sell for campaign contributions technology which can kill millions of you and me type people. By the way I am a skeptic and think we should start all over with both parties getting a foot in their butts. And whether to put or not to put GTW that is the rub. What is your view. As you have said GTW is hard to predict because of clever accounting. It looks like a general down trend is starting. Another quarter point increase and DOW 8,000 is here with the techs and banks hit really hard. JBW
