While I agree that call LEAP buying is a generally bullish sign, I think it's really hard to get anything quantitative from the figures, since we're in the first week in which LEAPs have become available. Unfortunately there is no baseline with which to try to sort out a "normal level" of open interest from an increase which might imply knowledge of impending good news. However, I'd just as soon not have the good news delayed just for the academic pursuit of refining the analysis process <gg>. Steve
