You know Barron's is slipping when the Market Watch section is the highlight. At least it wasn't the Mailbag section.

The Mogambo guru tells us GSpam "has sterilized more than $500 billion in T-bonds" during his watch. Big deal. That's not even enough to buy MSFT. <g>

David Orr of First Onion&reg shreds the e-tailing scam. If you take out airline tickets and stock trades, which aren't retailing anyway, e-tail sales were under $5 billion in 1998. And the majority of that is books, CDs, and computer equipment.

The usual boring comment by Richebacher that productivity is underwhelming. Apparently he hasn't seen how many games of Solitaire I can play in one hour on my new PIII. <g>
