Interesting that Business Week would make this quote while discussing Apple's iBook. The iBook is clearly not being marketed to corporations, but rather to high school and university students. I watched Steve Jobs keynote and he focused on the fact that the battery length meant that students could be away from an outlet all day long. Also, the iBook has wireless networking built in which allows 10 iBooks to access the internet through Apple's Airport at up to T1 speeds (again, this was designed for the classroom). What I think is intriguing about the iBook from a Valence perspective is that Apple is playing the hell out the battery life (see www.apple.com) and I expect would love to increase the length of time between charges with the use of lithium polymer batteries. Apple is going to sell a ton of these consumer notebooks and I wouldn't be surprised to see a lithium polymer battery in the next iteration.
