hey sarkie,

i have 3 isp's, of which one is aol. i seldom use it, but keep it around anyway.

because you asked if this was happening to anyone else, i attempted to log in to the SI beta site via aol's internal browser.

wasn't happening.

permit me to state the obvious here. if your access was working fine before, then stopped, i would be looking hard at the beta, not aol.

good luck.

:)

sarkie,

i just found this article about aol IM. ordinarily i wouldn't have connected it up with your situation at all, except for the mention of a yahoo IM beta that aol blocked on thursday. read the article. you never know whether this may be connected to your prob.

pcworld.com

good luck.

:)
