Michael Cummings talked about nuclear fusion on another thread. Having been on a nuke boat he probably has some first hand knowledge about nuke plants.

He was for fusion over fission but mentioned Carter had put the kibosh on fusion over fears of spreading nuclear weapons.

We should continue to work on things like nuclear fusion just in case the sun dies anytime soon <G>, but seriously, what can beat the free energy beating down on this planet every single day from that great gift creation has given us, our own powerful sun?
I think the ignoring of solar energy has more to do with human ego than anything else. Plus the special interests "in charge". Yogi
