I think the environmental impact of using land in sunny areas to generate clean solar power, is far, far better than what we have now. And do not forget that the technology is far behind because of lack of attention, not because we are not capable of doing it. That is the key point that most are missing here. Even so, it is surprising just how far solar power has progressed, even with all of the apathy and prejudice against it. Yogi
