TTOSBT,

Fair enough and agreed....I think I've been listening to C-SPAN to much...I'm beginning to take politics too seriously...I'm also wondering whether "road rage" is a direct result of listening to C-SPAN extensively while one drives....

Back to stocks....It seems like we "might" be getting towards a near term bottom....GTW responded well to their earnings report and SWY responded well with their acquisition, though the rise Friday on the NAZ was late in the day and seemed to be on low volume. I had the impression it was shorts closing positions for the weekend rather than longs buying in but I have no data to back that up. The NAZ is around 6% off the high after the 20% run. 2600 (or below) is looking more probable; 2585 would be a 10% drop.

A piece of useless trivia. DELL hit a high of 55 and subsequently dropped 22 points to 33 (40% drop); it returned to 44 up 11 recovering exactly 50% of the lost points; to return to it's high of 55 another 11 points up and exactly a 25% increase (from 44 to 55) was needed. It almost seems like a perfectly manufactured middle school math problem.

Best Regards,
Jim
