I dont think the mention who makes the hard ware, From what I understand it is very smilar to the other MP3 players. Yes they use MP3 techonology. They are also testing the MP3 site. They say you can also use any MP3 player although using theirs gives more time like 8-10 hours instead of 2. (so who is the hardware vendor?) Someone also mentioned it comes with their CPQ machines with like 3 books of samples and it sounds like other audio books and news. I would think a much more wide use would be on personal palmtops rather than the mobile box which is not as useful and you can download and save as much as you want eve using that if you get enough memory cards. Convinence is attaching to your serial port to download it to the mobile unit just like MP3 man. Would make it easier with USB. no drivers needed fro serial port. You can get most of the info from their site including demos.
