Thanks mr. m, but the problem after reading all the steps is the same. The line in question is not in the pref file...never was. There is only one true or false ending and it doesn't have to do with browsers. All that said, I solved my problem, later when I have time I'll see if I can swing back and forth between browsers, changing the default status. It may take a couple days...I'm busy right now. I can imagine the headaches programmers have debugging something of substantially larger proportion! LOL, I feel lucky...The problem specifically is what if that line is not in your file. Thanks...if you can answer that by Monday...free Milkbones for a week... ;-)
