John -- I think Netbank uses QIF and it has been fine so far -- Chase, my old bank used ofx I believe, and consistently screwed up my register -- I would write a check and certain payees would access my account through an elec. funds transfer -- although they only got paid once, the register showed two deductions and was always off, until I figured out the problem. Several months ago, Chase said they did not know when this would be fixed and told me to manually adjust the register. I don't believe this a problem w/ NTBK. Admittedly,w/ NTBK you can't get an auto-download as from Chase or amex or other credit cards, but ntbk has promised this soon.

And while I'm on the subject: American Express has given me really disappointing service on Quicken downloads of my AMEX card transactions. I'd say I have to make three to five attempts to contact their server for every one successful download. So even if their new 'net bank DID offer OFX downloads I would want to see a much, much better level of reliability before I would switch.

Did somebody say, "dial-tone reliability?" To repeat myself once again, it's important.
