IMO, the box makers have been in a commodity business for many years.

Re: AOL

I can't understand how AOL has so much business right now?? They are constantly rated near or at the bottom as far as performance. Apparently, lots of folks (for some reasons I can't understand) really like the extra content that AOL provides. I guess being early and constantly flooding people's mail boxes with free usage CD's has helped establish their huge installed base. I can't imagine using AOL for an ISP.
