Justa, I don't know, after listening to the whole show it sounded like he may think this is more likely to get resolved with a sell call than a return of visibility(for those looking in who didn't listen he absolutely did not overtly state this, just my interpretation of the vibes I got). He did clearly state he doesn't know at this time which way things will fall out. If we are headed for a bear with the July 16th highs turning out to be the eventual rough area of the highs for the bull, we're only about 4% from there on the S&P and since my hedge was not put in at the top I only have about a 5% gain on my 2beta short as I'm figuring it now. Also as far as market action a half hearted rally that approaches but doesn't break the July 16th highs decisively with distribution possibly going on might fit in well with a sell signal if his other indicators call for it. I sold out an S&P fund I had last week since I didn't want short against the box issues with my 2beta S&P short fund as a bear call if and when it comes is likely to last through January and I think could have become a tax issue while I also want to be raising cash for flexibility for hedging my other positions or working the short side. I'm also tending to premature caution since I seem to get my Marketimer a few days after most. If I'm figuring correctly with my hedge I'm effectively at about 40-60 now and I'll probably sell my small STII position, hopefully the arbs won't let the price go down much from here since Bob's sell recommendation on NBR and the show today may depress the price. The next several weeks could be very interesting. Marc
