Mike Buckley, Re: Post 4262 Followup on Siebel Sorry to be several days late with with this but was out of town with no computer access. I had time to catch up on all my reading. One of the items I was reading up on is Siebel. Red Herring's enterprise software coverage in the July issue mentioned one main problem with Siebel (and for that matter Clarify) going forward, and that is that they are ONLY developing their CRM functions(which is front office only) and NOT tying it to the ERP and other back office applications. One person in the article predicts a split in the CRM market where the pure play CRM vendors possibly being pushed into professional service niches. This may have already been covered AND I may be missing something here but would like to get a response from you as Siebel is on my closely watched list. Thanks
