This is another example of the kind, helpful, and knowledgable people on our thread, Kha vu read my complaints about OMEGA and kindly offered his assistance,I didn't ask him he just took it on himself to help! Here on the Market Gems thread I think we truly have each others best interests at heart and that is why I've made it my "Virtual" home I only hope that my contributions are half as useful as I find all of yours...... Mary, thanks, but I believe it to be a software related problem, I run 2 boxes, 1 box is a 400mhz pentium II, 128 ram, all this box does is runs omega tradestation 4.0, and it is cable data feed the other is 450mhz, 128 ram and that one runs only MBTRADING software and it is DSL wired, so data speed isn't an issue I might just need more RAM as my stock universe is 11,000 securities updating realtime everyday, I have to keep a large data base because with tradestation, if you want to chart a security with intraday charts, they have to be "active" in the symbol universe, in other words I can't just download 30days worth of tick data, the software has to actually "receive" it real time, then it stores it historically so you can few 30 days worth of 15 min ticks ( or whatever interval I choose) Kha vu is meeting with them this weekend and will be describing my problem to them, hope he can get some info from them to resolve this issue.
