It's quite possible that now states are giving people the choice of whether to stick with their baby bell or use their normal LD company when making these calls. Mike: I think you are on the right track here. I was just looking at QWST's LD plans this past week and noticed that they do in fact offer the ability to use QWST as your LD and Local toll provider. For me, Qwest Local Toll is half the price of Pac Bell....although I am weary because I have been extremely disatisfied with the Qwest LD sound quality thus far. Justin
