Vendit,
As an AOL subscriber and also in the Bell Atlantic region, this is how I see it: I can't even get DSL yet, and won't be able too for about a year. Bell Atlantic has only targeted densely populated areas like Philly and N.Y. I can get ISDN through Bell, which I have. I use a local ISP that offers ISDN as AOL doesn't offer it. I then go to AOL from there. I probably wouldn't even use AOL except for their IM feature, as I keep in touch with friends and family all over the country through it. For that reason alone I think it is vital that AOL maintain their exclusionary stance with respect to Instant Messaging. If I didn't have to pay for AOL and could still use their IM service, I would do it in a minute. Let's hope this doesn't turn into a knock down drag out fight, at least until AOL subscribers have already bought into their high-speed solutions on a more universal level.

Regards,
Tom

Vendit, thanks for responding to my post. Your thoughts have always been helpful. I also feel AOL has a great future. I'd just prefer to see the stock move up, and continue in that trend. I'm long and not making money on these moves. I'm glad people like you are, and especially appreciative of your willingness share your knowledge with others. I understand that technical readings are good for buying in on long position at a better price.

Have a nice afternoon.
